I stole this meme from Nancy Pearl Wannabe. Feel free to steal it from me if you want to.
1. Who was your FIRST prom date? I'm not going to say his real name. His blog name is "ex-husband". My ex and I were high school sweethearts and went to our junior year prom together. Blech. Since I bash him from time to time on here for being such an ass, I'm not going to disclose his name.
2. Do you still talk to your FIRST love? See 1 above. He's an ass. So no, I do not still talk to him. It's been almost five years since we've spoken to each other. Five glorious, peaceful years after the ten non-glorious, non-peaceful years I spent with him. The one good thing I can credit him with though is that he makes me appreciate Hot Brazilian a whole, whole bunch.
3. Seems to be missing.
4. What was your FIRST job? When I was 15, I worked at Stone Mountain Park - an 825 foot mountain just east of Atlanta with the largest bas relief sculpture in the world. The sculpture is of three confederate leaders.....this is the South after all. I worked at a concession stand by the riverboat attraction. I made waffle cones, scooped ice cream, and sold hot dogs. It's the reason I haven't eaten a hot dog in over 25 years. Oddly, I did not stop eating ice cream. But that's because we never found gross stuff in the ice cream.
5. What was your FIRST car? A light blue 1982 Chevy Cavalier. It was as cool as it sounds.
6. Who was the FIRST person to text you today? Everyone knows I don't text. So they rarely text me. The last text message I got was from my niece on February 19 telling me good night and to sleep well.
7. Who is the FIRST person you thought of this morning? Hot Brazilian.
8. Who was your FIRST grade teacher? Mrs. Porter. She once slapped me on the hand with a ruler because I asked the little boy next to me what page we were on when I had lost track one day. I cried. And I blame her partially for the fact that I never spoke in class again all the way through college. I would only speak if a teacher called on me even if I thought I had something meaningful to add to a class discussion.
9. Where did you go on your FIRST ride on an airplane? Miami, Florida the weekend of my 17th birthday. That makes me sound like I was really cool - "Oh, I jetted off to Miami for my 17th birthday." However, my parents and my younger brother were with me.
10. Who was your FIRST best friend & do you still talk? My first best friend was Sheri. We met in kindergarten. It's 35 years later and we do still talk. In fact, I just spoke with her a couple of weeks ago. My dad is supposed to take pictures at her upcoming wedding.
11. Where was your FIRST sleepover? I'm not sure if it was my first one ever, but it's the first one I remember. I was 5 years old and it was about 7 months after my biological mom died. My dad took me to stay at a lady's apartment that she shared with her sister. It was Easter weekend and we baked a cake together in the shape of a bunny rabbit. Little did I know my dad was planning to marry the lady and she would become my new mom two months later.
12. Who was the FIRST person you talked to today? The security guard that held the door open for me when I arrived at the office. (I have manners unlike most of the people he holds the door open for every day, so I thanked him for holding the door open and wished him a good day.) I spoke to Bailey all morning but she's a cat and this question asks who the first PERSON was that I talked to today.
13. Whose wedding were you in the FIRST time? My friend Diana's.
14. What was the FIRST thing you did this morning? Uhm, I peed if you really need to know. Then I looked outside and discovered someone has been creeping in my backyard and stuck a wooden duck in my fence. I know - weird right?
15. What was the FIRST concert you ever went to? Rush - The Signals Tour. I'm old yo.
16. What was the FIRST vinyl record you ever bought? I can't remember but it was either Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band (Nine Tonight) or The Bee Gees, (Greatest Hits double album). The first vinyl record I ever had was one I received as a gift rather than one I bought myself. It was Shaun Cassidy (Da Doo Run Run). Awesome.
17. What was the FIRST cassette you ever bought? I really cannot remember, but I think it was a Van Halen cassette. Either that or Prince or Billy Idol. What can I say - I have quite a varied taste in music.
18. What was the FIRST CD you ever bought? Sinead O'Connor. I think. Y'all, I'm really way too old to remember all of this stuff.
19. What was the FIRST mp3 you ever downloaded? Just as I don't text, I also do not have an iPod or an mp3 player. I'm living like it's 1999.
20. Who was the FIRST famous person you ever met? Scott Baio, Willie Ames, Anson Williams and Donny Most (the redheaded guy on Happy Days). They were all at Six Flags and my friends and I waited in line for hours to meet them. Because we were stupid apparently.
21. FIRST tattoo? I have no tattoos. My grandmother once joked that if she got a tattoo it would be of a hanging basket hanging off of her boob. Maybe I'd get one of someone bungee jumping.
22. FIRST piercing? I got my ears pierced when I was around 6 years old. My ears are also my ONLY piercing.
23. FIRST foreign country you went to? The Bahamas.
24. FIRST movie you remember seeing? Song of the South.
25. When was your FIRST detention? I never had detention. I was a boring child and never misbehaved in school. Mainly because I was terrified of what my parents would do to me.
26. What was the FIRST state you lived in? Georgia. I'm still here.
27. Who was your FIRST roommate? Monique. She was my roommate in my dorm at The University of Georgia for my first quarter. She was an education major and left after the first quarter to do her student teaching in a town about an hour away.
28. Where did you purchase your FIRST home? Yeah, I haven't exactly taken that plunge yet. I know I'm 40. Do not rush me.
29. Where was your FIRST child born? Huh? Child? What child?
30. Who was your FIRST kiss? This is terrible, but I can't remember his name. I was 14 years old and at a (very innocent) party and some guy I had just met at the party kissed me. I was terrified but was very glad to get my first kiss over with. It was so shocking to me to have a stranger kiss me that I instantly blocked out his name.
31. What was the name of your FIRST elementary school? Chapel Hill Elementary.

We used to make an Easter Bunny cake every year. Haven't done it in forever. I should make one and force it on someone's children. Hee.
I had that Shaun Cassidy album, to my everlasting shame. I'm not sure why I had it--I really much preferred Hardy Boy Parker Stevenson.
